چکیده
The main objective of this study was to evaluate the community structure order Ephemeroptera in Southern Western Ghats ecoregion along with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Canonical Correspondence (CCA) from 2017 2018. Ecological parameters estimated at each collecting site were pH, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, hardness alkalinity. This research investigation carried out 30 streams Palni Cardamom hills India. With PCA examination, sites like Dhobikana, Fern hill Poomparai are plotted far apart not supported by ecological other sites. Dhobikana is exceptionally contaminated light fact that dhobis associated washing garments so cleanser contamination prevalent around there. In cardamom hills, Santhamparai near bridge Nayamakkadu left indicating they physico-chemical parameters, mainly due pollution. From CCA results, it discovered Baetis species favor β-mesosaprobic habitat Indialis badia inclines toward high altitudinal region. outcomes, presumed alkalinity essential components administering mayfly structure.

Spatial distribution and seasonal changes of mayflies (Insecta, Ephemeroptera) in a Western Balkan peat bog
Peat bogs are unique wetland ecosystems of high conservation value all over the world, yet data on the macroinvertebrates (including mayfly assemblages) in these habitats are still scarce. Over the course of one growing season, mayfly assemblages were sampled each month, along with other macroinvertebrates, in the largest and oldest Croatian peat bog and an adjacent stream. In total, ten mayfly...

متن کاملCentennial rainfall variation in semi arid and tropical humid environments in the cardamom hill slopes, southern Western Ghats, India
Studies of rainfall variation generally focus on large areas. For example, in India, the area average monsoon rainfall series of the whole country or meteorological subdivisions are used. This would be of no use for local agriculture, particularly in places where rainfall is very high or very low, especially for crops like small cardamom and vanilla which are very sensitive to soil moisture and...
